Derrick Nguyenton, PT, DPT

Dr. Derrick Nguyenton, PT, DPT has been providing physical therapy services to the Las Vegas Valley since 2022. He was born and raised in San Diego, and has called Las Vegas home since 2019. He graduated from San Diego State University in 2017 with a BS in Kinesiology, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022 at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During his time at UNLV, his research focus revolved around neuromuscular control in individuals with patellofemoral pain, which resulted in publications in the British Medical Journal and Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience. As a student, he appeared on Ron's podcast, Hyperspeed Radio, discussing the pathogenesis of pain and how it all works.

If you don't find him in the clinic, you'll find him cycling on his road bike somewhere in Vegas. Having been integrated in the cycling community of San Diego and Las Vegas, he is well versed in the importance of a good bike fit. Derrick believes that a long, healthy, cycling life, whether for competition or leisure, requires the harmony of a good fit, strength, and adequate biomechanics. Before he found cycling, he played as a sweeper on a club soccer team for 6 years, followed by 4 years of tennis as first seed doubles.

If you would like to get treated for any musculoskeletal problems or schedule a bike fit, please request an appointment!
